Toyota Exhibition: The Money Myth
My second exhibition acceptance at the Toyota gallery this year was for the exhibition titled "The Money Myth". My painting fitted perfectly into the theme of the exhibition, which was an amazing coincidence, and very fortunate for me, as I didn't have any other paintings to apply for the exhibition with.
The two guys from Little Red (and also The Hondas), who were kind enough to pose for my painting, also came along to the exhibition opening - it's always nice to see your painting and its models in the same room.
Next step is to apply for the $10,000 Toyota Travel Grant.

GRINDHOUSE
Thursday 27th March, 2008
Come see Rena's second group exhibition for the year, drink the free alcohol and then head down to Trades Hall on Lygon Street - it's where all the cool kids will be hanging during this year's Comedy Festival - and see the show that was meant to be Rena's Comedy Festival debut, as second lead actor. Unfortunately her line was cut in the editing process, leaving the entire show in the hands of The (much more capable) Birdmann.
Tickets are $15/$10, so if you have 2-3 free drinks at the exhibition, you'll BREAK EVEN - hell, you might even manage to make a PROFIT!
